Text message from a teacher's conference


When he told her to
imagine
an elephant with
butterfly
wings for ears,

She said, "That sounds like a
beautiful
creature. But it would never
know
to stop and listen or
                                             just flutter away."

He promised to tell the
keynote speaker,
but what he meant: He
hopes
to always know the former.
